Outgoing Goulburn CEO Robyn Fife will finish up at the tablelands club this Friday feeling like the club is clearly heading in the right direction.

Her time with Goulburn Race Club has extended through twenty-six years, almost ten of those active in the role of CEO.

Notoriously shy about self-promotion, Ms Fife this week extended her thanks to those she believes have provided valuable support during her tenure.

“Special thanks to the board members, staff, commercial partners and industry participants who have supported our club’s racing endeavours in my time at Goulburn Race Club,” Ms Fife said.

“I’m leaving with the knowledge that the club remains an important part of the forward planning of the racing industry in NSW and a key member of Goulburn’s social and sporting community.” 

Major achievements at Goulburn Race Club under Robyn’s guidance have included but not been limited to:

  • Delivery of successful Country Championships Qualifiers
  • Ongoing enhancements in track and training facilities
  • Completion of the new female jockey rooms
  • Securing guaranteed long term re-treated water supplies
  • Introduction of the club’s on-track big screen in partnership with Goulburn Soldiers Club
  • Event enhancement of the Girls Day Out program
