An extraordinary general meeting of the Club’s members was held on Tuesday 2 April to consider Racing NSW’s funding proposal from Racing NSW to provide $9.5 million for the construction of 80 new stables on transfer of the Goulburn racecourse with a long term lease back to the Club at a peppercorn rental. The proposal was passed by an overwhelming majority of members by 58 votes to 10 votes.
This represents an exciting new chapter in the development and progress of our historic Club. Further information will be provided to members and stakeholders throughout the course of the project.
