BOYS GET THEIR DAY IN THE SUN AT GOULBURN RACES

Well known for its big “Girls Day Out” race day, Goulburn Race Club unveils its “alter ego” the Sun Solutions Boys Day Out this Saturday 14th April.

Importantly, it is a rarely available opportunity for Goulburn and tablelands locals to have a Saturday afternoon at the races on home soil.

So, once the lawns are mowed, the junior sport and sausage sizzles are done with, why not grab a few mates and get the “boys out” to the races.

As well as a strong six race card at Goulburn, racegoers can also catch all the action of day two of The Championships live and large from Royal Randwick on all the screens around the spacious Goulburn track.

Whether it’s an all-inclusive winning post marquee luncheon package or taking in the action from the parade ring terrace there’s plenty of options for the boys to enjoy the view and a brew!

Just by getting to the races at Goulburn this Saturday you also have the chance to win one of ten $50 betting vouchers courtesy of Goulburn District Race Club. There will also be cash prizes for the Best Dressed Racegoers on the day.

Goulburn Race Club CEO Robyn Fife says racing on a Saturday is a rare event for the club but one with plenty of benefits.

“Saturday has always been a traditional day that people’s thoughts turn to the form guide. Securing a weekend timeslot gives a club like ours deserved exposure to a potentially huge television audience alongside city and provincial racing”, Ms Fife said.

“What better way to celebrate it locally than to host “Boys Day Out.”

“The club will serve up six competitive local races for racegoers to try their luck on and broadcast all the action from metropolitan and interstate venues as well.”

“Racegoers will also be in the running to win betting vouchers and cash prizes for best dressed racegoers on the day.”

Gates open at midday on Saturday and more information is available from Goulburn Race Club on
